Mitchell F Chan created one of the earliest non-fungible token artworks, which linked the immateriality of blockchain to the conceptual art practice of Yves Klein. Employing innovative applications of technology to art since 2006, he was awarded the School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s Trustee Scholarship in Art & Technology Studies.
