Meredith Davis is Emerita Professor of Graphic Design at NC State University, where she served as department chair and graduate director in Graphic Design and Director of the PhD in Design. Meredith is an AIGA fellow and national medalist, fellow of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, and Alexander Quarles Holladay medalist for excellence in teaching. She is a frequent author on design and design education, including the AIGA Design Futures papers, and serves on a number of editorial boards. She is currently a member of the executive committee of The Future of Design Education, an international initiative to rethink design education for the 21st century, and curricular consultant to colleges and universities.
