You may not believe in reincarnation, but Shelley Evenson has had several lives. She’s been an academic, consultant, and a service design guru.

Previously, she was an Associate Professor in the School of Design at Carnegie Mellon University.

Today she is a Managing Director and Global Design Lead for Technology within Accenture Interactive, Shelley’s past lives converge. She leads initiatives to transform ways of working, advance innovative knowledge-sharing practices, and explore how new technologies will shape service design and experience in the future. As one of the founding members of the International Service Design Network, Shelley has the chops to bring groundbreaking service design practices to client projects.

A contributor to several books and articles on service, interaction, and design strategy, Evenson is a frequent speaker, facilitator, and instructor at design and business events around the globe.
