To Remember and to Share: Publishing the Labor Camp Report
Courtenay Finn, Michael Aberman, Piotr Szyhalski
This conversation between artist Piotr Szyhalski/Labor Camp and independent publisher Frank (curator/writer Courtenay Finn and graphic designer Michael Aberman) spans the realms of creative labor, community building, and collaboration in precarious times. In 2021, Frank published Szyhalski’s COVID-19: Labor Camp Report, an iconic project of 225 daily drawings created in direct response to the coronavirus pandemic, in a limited-edition book and its companion volume: one to remember, another to share.

How to Keep Things Moving?
David Reinfurt
David Reinfurt will share twenty years of work made under a constellation of pseudonyms including O-R-G, Dexter Sinister, and The Serving Library and speak about what it takes to keep an independent design practice moving. David works with an extended network of artists, designers, writers, and architects, often on more than one project over time, and currently teaches at Princeton University. He was 2010 United States Artists Rockefeller Fellow in Architecture and Design, has exhibited widely and his work is included in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, Walker Art Center, Centres Georges Pompidou, and the Whitney Museum of American Art. David was 2016–2017 Mark Hampton Rome Prize Fellow in Design at the American Academy in Rome. He has written two books, Muriel Cooper (MIT Press, 2017) and A *New* Program For Graphic Design (Inventory Press/DAP, 2019). https://www.o-r-g.com, http://www.servinglibrary.org, http://www.dextersinister.org, https://t-y-p-o-g-r-a-p-h-y.org, http://www.davidreinfurt.com
