Shannon Zenner, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of communication design at Elon University and is the faculty creative director for Live Oak Communications, the student-run communications agency. She has a background in advertising and has worked with a variety of clients from Bank of America and Justin Boots to Bell Helicopter and Dairy Queen. She has taught classes in graphic design, digital illustration, photography, art direction and advertising for over a decade. Her research explores the visual aspects of political campaigns.
