Sara Yates is a design operations leader, educator, and writer. She's passionate about connecting people and ideas, building and empowering teams, and teaching and learning. A cross-functional leader, her entry into UX was via UX Writing before transitioning into design operations roles. She's taught UX Writing at the School of Visual Concepts in Seattle and for the inaugural Amazon UX Design and Research Apprenticeship program. She's built and led global content and design operations teams. Her design operations philosophy is centered at the intersection between people, data, and change.
