Vermont College of Fine Arts (VCFA) is the only college primarily devoted to fine arts education in a low-residency model at the graduate level. VCFA's MFA in Graphic Design program is one of the nation’s first low-residency programs in graphic design which synthesizes intense, one-week residencies with four 6-month semesters of independent study with a range of faculty mentors. We educate students towards the broader context of design and see Graphic Design as a social tool and design education as a process of social transformation.
