SVP of Design

Quantifind
Speaker Bio
Lance Rutter is the Senior Vice President of Design at Quantifind, an advanced data intelligence company working with major financial institutions and government agencies to help them uncover signals of potential criminal activity. His responsibilities include the vision and crafting of every touchpoint of the Quantifind brand, including the user experience and interface design of their enterprise SaaS application, Graphyte.
His non-traditional career path as a graphic designer has been the result of a firmly held belief that designers should be tackling hard problems, sitting at the biggest tables, and demonstrating design’s significant value.
Lance spent 25 years working in Chicago, with much of that time spent as the creative director of his own agency. He has been an instructor of branding and design methodology studio classes at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Illinois, served as AIGA Chicago President and on the AIGA national board, and spearheaded the Chicago International Poster Biennial from 2008–2010.
