Crystal is the former municipal court administrator for the City of Kansas City, KS. Now the special projects director, Crystal is championing user-centered design and innovation across the City in support of it's 165,000 residents. A native of Wyandotte County, Crystal first started working in government as a probation officer helping residents successfully navigate complex court requirements and find success. Through her work in government and working with residents in times of need, Crystal has continuously identified and created new processes to more successfully engage with residents. Despite not having a degree or background in design, Crystal has advocated from a user-centered lens.
