Uchenna has over ten years of extensive experience in technology and management consulting and organizational transformation within TTS and in the private sector. She is currently acting as Executive Director of 18F, a civic tech consultancy that partners with Federal and State agencies to better serve the Public. She is Director of Product in a non-acting capacity. She joined the public sector in 2018 and has led engagements at DOJ Civil Rights division and U.S. Air Force Material Command. Prior to joining 18F, Uchenna spent a part of her career starting and growing the Pan Africa operations for her former company, a global software consultancy focused on solving complex problems with technology. During her time on the continent, she served as the Professional Services Manager of the pan African region. She also started the first BlackGirlsCODE chapter in Africa along with a local software development capacity building initiative, Coded In Braam. Uchenna is a graduate in the field of Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University. Her specializations were in tissue and material engineering. She has also done extensive diabetes research at the University of Chicago’s Pritzker School of Medicine. Uchenna is passionate about leveraging her past experience to catalyze positive social and technological change through team transformation, human-centric design, and effective use of Agile and Lean methodologies.
