Syashi Gupta, Experience Designer at Adobe Photoshop.
Syashi Gupta graduated from the College of Design at North Carolina State University (NCSU) in 2021 with a Master’s in Graphic Design and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from DAIICT. As a grad student, Syashi pursued and published research on the topic “Agency, Trust, and Interpretability of Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs)“.
She is enthusiastic about technology-mediated user experience design and loves the intersection of design with tech. Currently, in her work, she is exploring feedback mechanisms and incorporation of AI/ML technology into graphic design workflows. She is a part-time Futurist with a keen interest in exploring and reading about AI/ML and its ethical implications. At work and beyond she sees the potential design has to bring about change in both human behavior and exchanges that users have smart technology. She firmly believes that design can empower people to develop agency to use AI/ML technology to their advantage.
