Anastasiia Raina is a designer, researcher, and Assistant Professor at Rhode Island School of Design. In her research-based practice, Anastasiia draws upon collaborations with scientists to catalyze, trigger and disseminate innovative processes through designers’ active participation. Her design methodology incorporates aesthetics of technologically mediated natures through machine vision, neuroscience, evolutionary biology, and biomaterials into the design practice. Anastasiia has extensively presented and published her work and research at Stanford, Columbia, Brown, Princeton, and Yale, among other institutions.
