"Sheharazad Fleming is an Iranian-American communications strategist, creative director and design educator. Throughout her career, she has launched and led creative teams in both agency and in-house settings, focusing on the academic, civic, and nonprofit sectors.

In that capacity, she has served as the Creative Director for the University of Southern California and for the Otis College of Art and Design. During the pandemic, Sheharazad was tapped to lead the public awareness campaigns for the City of Los Angeles as the Director of Digital Design and Marketing for the Office of the L.A. Mayor.

She currently serves as the Chief Creative Officer for The Great Discontent, a platform that amplifies the work of emerging artists and under-represented creative communities, and as senior communications strategist for the Mayor’s Fund for Los Angeles and Accelerator for America."
