Cheryl Heller’s experience as a leader, designer, scholar, business strategist and author spans corporate, philanthropic, nonprofit and academic worlds. In each, she has created groundbreaking organizations and programs. She founded the first MFA program in Design for Social innovation at SVA in New York and has taught creativity to leaders around the world. She has helped grow clients’ businesses from small regional enterprises to multi-billion global market leaders, launched category-redefining divisions and products, reinvigorated moribund cultures, and designed strategies for hundreds of successful entrepreneurs. Most recently, she was as ASU’s Director of Design Integration and Professor of Practice in Innovation Design, a joint position between the schools of engineering, business and design. While at ASU, she launched the first transdisciplinary STEM MS program in Innovation and Venture Development. She is an AIGA Medalist.
