This session, led by AIGA Medalist Cheryl Heller, is an investigation into some unexpected places and ways that professional design practice plays a critical role in health equity; and how to evaluate the contribution it makes.
We'll highlight a multi-year national effort using design to support youth as they age out of foster care to become secure, independent adults featuring Sabrina Burrell, Program Analyst for the DC Department of Human Services and Ramina Davidson, Youth Improvement Advisor for Built for Zero.
We'll also explore the ongoing effort to quantify the contribution that design makes to human health with Tracy Johnson, Sr. Program Officer, Gates Foundation and Anne LaFond, Director, Center for Health Information, Monitoring and Evaluation, John Snow, Inc.
