Clarice Chan is a Product Manager working at the intersection of Technology and Democracy. For the past two years, she served as a White House Presidential Innovation Fellow in the CTO's office of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs where she focused on digital modernization of services. During that time, she was granted the unique opportunity to take an extended Civic Leave sabbatical from Microsoft. Straddling the private and public sector, Clarice has been a thought leader for how Corporate Civic Responsibility can bolster the field of Public Interest Technology. Upon completing her fellowship, she has decided to stay in Washington, DC. Clarice currently leads Elections and Democracy Research efforts at Facebook.
