Born in Kuwait to refugee parents, Ryan Letada was raised in the Philippines before his family immigrated to the Bronx.
Today, Ryan is CEO of NextDayBetter, a media company that tells immigrant stories to make the invisible visible and empower change. They envision a migrant and connected world built on boundless empathy.
Its agency arm, NextDayBetter Studios, is leading the charge in immigrant and inclusive marketing and storytelling. They partner with leading brands such as Mailchimp, AARP, Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, Federal Trade Commission, and Doctors Without Borders to launch award-winning storytelling campaigns and DEI initiatives. Past campaigns tackled LGBTQ rights, the 2020 Census, affordable healthcare, immigrant rights, and more.
Ryan’s social innovation work includes One Laptop Per Child Philippines and Catchafire. He is a Google NextGen Tech Policy Fellow, Fulbright Scholar, and Posse Foundation Alumnus. He serves on the Board of Trustees of Wheaton College Massachusetts.
