Toby Allen is Deputy Executive Creative Director of AMV BBDO. With his partner Jim Hilson, he has led the creative transformation on the global Essity account, breaking taboos, making headlines and shaping culture. They were the most awarded Creative Directors in the world in 2019, winning back-to-back Titanium Lions and the Glass Grand Prix at Cannes. D&AD Black Pencil of the Decade, a White Pencil and 5 Yellow Pencils, and a career haul 30 Grand Prix at One Show, Clios, and other global shows. To make fresh work, they enjoy nurturing new talent, and started a creative academy at AMV BBDO to draw in a more diverse talent pool. In 2018 their efforts were recognised by Management Today, naming them alongside FTSE 100 CEOs as 'Agents of Change' for workplace equality.
