Description

This session asks the question “If designing is also planning then isn't it—at its greatest extrapolation—also futuring?” Together, we will explore how futuring emerged as a field adjacent to various design fields, where it originated, and how it is related to speculative design. Presenters will share their work and the tools and frameworks they employ for solving complex problems, scenarios, and making futures.
